Between them they combine most of the awkward conditions going: a heavily wooded Chilterns ridge that swallows UHF signal every summer, deep river valleys along the Thames and Kennet, dense heritage streets in Oxford, Windsor and Henley where aerials and dishes must stay discreet, and a belt of foil-insulated new builds around Bicester, Didcot and Wokingham that blocks both broadcast signal and WiFi.

The workhorse mast for most of Berkshire. Strong across the middle of the county, but the Kennet and Thames valley dips create shadow pockets that need extra mast height rather than more gain.
Oxford, Abingdon, Didcot, Wallingford, Bicester, Witney, Banbury
High power and wide reach across Oxfordshire. Homes close to the mast often receive too much signal and need attenuation, not a booster.
Henley-on-Thames, Chinnor, Thame, the High Chilterns
Serves the wooded Chilterns where Hannington struggles. Summer leaf growth is the classic cause of seasonal pixelation here.
Slough, Windsor, Bracknell, Ascot
Towns in the east of the county often receive London's main transmitter more cleanly than any local mast. We meter both before committing.
